Now we’ll shift the focus to 2-string arpeggios, helping you refine neck vision and fretboard awareness. Despite the reduced range, these shapes are powerful tools for creative, melodic playing.
We link back to Part 1 (same order, same keys), but now we’ll be challenging your time feel, diagonal movement, and musical phrasing across changing meters.
- Diagonally movement across the neck in octaves and unisons
- 6-bar sets focusing on a single chord type: Major, Minor, Diminished, and Augmented
- Starting in 3/4 time and switching to 4/4 in bars 5–6.
Those final 2 bars feature a smooth 3-octave diagonal run in 1/8 note triplets—classic and very effective.
