Part 2 of the series expands to full 6-string arpeggios, building directly on the shapes from Level 1. Each drill begins with an arpeggio shape that connects back to the top-half versions from Part 1.
While these arpeggios move from low to high in a more traditional arc, what’s happening underneath it all is unique:
- Major arpeggios descend by a tritone (great for tritone substituation sound)
- Minor arpeggios follow a descending i–iv Progression
- Augmented arpeggios are descend in major 3rds (mirroring their formula)
- Diminished arpeggios descend in minor 3rds (again reflecting their structure)
This blends theory with playability to help you use arpeggios, not just memorise them.
